Many in Sudan want A british dead because she let the students name a teddy bear after the prophet Muhammed. Gillian Gibbons the british teacher accused of this was teaching the class about religion when she told one of the students to name a teddy bear Muhammed as an example. A lot of Sudanese people wanted her head decapitated others dead by firing squad because they felt that they were disrespected in the worst way. Since stupid things like this make the headline.......maybe the genocide to be in Darfur (which is in Sudan) should Get some recognition also???
With a devestating earthquake hitting chile a couple of days ago, their has been two devestating aftershocks which killing people all over the southern part of Chile and is really having a devestating affect on the chilanean people. There should be some type reaction to this instead of worrying about the little things suchas Iran, there people that are hurting and need help.
Since the declaration of the state of emergency in Paksitan and he detainment of former Prime Minister Benezir Bhutto and 5,000 of her supporters has caused civil unrest in Pakistan. Even though funded by the U.S. the person in charge of the hold on the Pakistani people, General Mussharaf refuses to let up. So what's the next chapter in this episodes........ if you ask for my guess........NOBODY KNOWS!!!!!!!!!
Since the declaration of a state of emergency and the detainment of former Prime Minister Benezir Bhutto and 5,000 of her supporters the man in charge of the Pakistani government is not letting up. Even though he is aided by the U.S. General Mussharef refuses to give up the hold on Pakistan and has cuased a civil unrest within his community. Seeignt that the U.S. seems to have its hand involved in everything in Middle East, and we are always looking to tell people what to do, when it comes to this region we should just mind our business and worry about more important things in the world like our own country.
Once again the U.S. challenges the Iranian government and their nuclear program. Even though Iran is backed by Russia The U.S. said that if sees any nuclear activity it will sanction and if that doesn't work "act". Those are very strong words for a country that has the biggest nuclear program in the world. That seems very contradicting, look out for another debate on this situation.
I know everybody is tired of me talking about this man but he ceases to amaze me and here's why. Congress has been trying to get a bill that approves for child health care and this guy we call the President vetos it once again. I don't get the math congress gathers the bill and puts it out there for the legislatures then the President vetos it and everyone changes their mind i understand he's our leader but if he was a better leader this country maybe better than what it is now. At this point if we can't count in him to pass a bill that will benefit children all across the country maybe we shouldn't count him at all...............worst president ever?..........I THINK SO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now that Turkey has officially began its attack on the Kurdish rebels in Iraq, has neighboring countries and western allies thinking about an intervnetion between Turkey and the Iraq situtation as a whole. Just yesterday the turkish air force and gunships launched attacks in and around Iraqi territory against kurdish rebels. With hostile countries bordering Turkey and another possible intervention from the west, might spark up some anger in other mideast countries. If so be on the lookout for very interesting outcome, and I hate to say this, but with so much hate towards western countries from the mideastern countries if there is another intervention by the west we might be in another war.... Just a though i don't mean to be too political.......
With the Iran-U.S. tensions heating up an unexpected ally of the U.S. defends Iran. Today Russia told the russian newspapers that the should not and will not use former states bordering the caspian sea to attack Iran. Russian leader Vladimir Putin made it clear that he didn't want U.S. intervention in the area. Now that a formatable has intervened will President Bush decide to approach Iran again?.
Something seems wrong to me, we're breaking our necks and wasting military lives fighting terrorism in a foreign country, and also threatening others who dear think about any type of interference. While at home we're dealing with a widespread acts of terrorism, most recently in Ohio and the situation in American boot camps. We need to step back and take one good look at ourselves in the mirror as a country.
As we look around the world today we see that poltics are taking center stage in our lives, with the democratic race and the elections in Lebanon, problems with Myanmaer, North Korea, Syria, And Iran are eyes are locked on to see what the world's next move is going to be. Lets watch closely and see what the world gets into next.
